Be a Nutrient Seeker

When it comes to the subject of nutrition we have been taught to:

  • Check the nutrition label.
  • Count the calories.
  • Blah, blah, blah.

Calories and grams of fat for example do not tell the whole story. Let me clear something up, nutrition is nourishment, particularly on a cellular level, and it comes from whole foods. It is time we change the way we look at nutrition. Today we want to introduce you to a very simple concept: it’s called “be a nutrient seeker.” When this becomes our way of looking at nutrition the end result is typically HEALTH!

To be a nutrient seeker:

  • Seek out nourishing foods (real food- no label required).
  • Seek to understand where food comes from and how it is made.
  • Listen to your body and feed it what it needs to heal and grow.
  • Navigate the modern “diet” by seeking out the most nutrient-dense sources.

Are you a nutrient seeker?

When you eat do you know if the food is healing or hurting you? Are you eating to just eat or do you seek the nutrition that food delivers? Are your foods high in essential fats, quality protein, vitamins and minerals? Does your food leave you feeling whole, energetic, strong or does your food leave you feeling tired, bloated, ill?

I would encourage you to really answer these questions and decide, make a decision today, which person you want to be. Ask yourself if your health even matters to you. I believe if you answer yes then the next step is to become a nutrient seeker.

Nutrient-dense whole foods to seek out:

These foods will give you the most bang for your buck. They are rich in healthy fats and protein!

  • Homemade bone broth.
  • Fermented foods such as kefir, kombucha, sauerkraut, and yogurt.
  • Raw milk.
  • Organ meats such as liver.
  • Cod Liver Oil (only recommend this brand)
  • Wild-caught seafood.
  • Quality meats such as beef, chicken, and pork.
  • Quality natural fats such as butter, coconut oil, avocados, and olive oil.

If you want your health to soar and decrease your chances of getting sick I want to encourage you to become a NUTRITON SEEKER. So you tell us, are you a nutrient seeker? Do you want to be one?
